Hi, this is Ava and I’m going to tell you about the fun things I do in Dallas. We moved into our new house and the first thing I saw was the fun tree in the front yard. I love to climb it. I also get to make slime a lot here. Here are a couple of pictures of fun things we did so far:
We went to a lake that had lots of sand at it. I liked to swim to the really deep part and touch the yellow buoy. I saw a lot of tadpoles and I tried to catch them but I couldn’t. There was a fun playground that looked like a pirate ship and a lighthouse too.
I love to play soccer and this is me, Hallie, and Joshua playing soccer on a field. Joshua got hurt because daddy ran over him so he didn’t play for very long. I scored 3 goals against mommy and daddy! Joshua and I are signed up for soccer and I can’t wait to start.
We started at our new school today. This picture is from meet the teacher night. My teachers are Mrs. Brager and Mrs. George. I really liked Mrs. George’s class because she did fun activities and stuff.
This is when I did a lemonade stand with my friend Esther. We made fresh squeezed lemonade – that took a long time! We also made cookies and we gave all of them away in two hours. We also hung signs around the neighborhood and lots of people came and we had a lot of fun doing it. Esther is saving up to take her birds to the vet to get them checked out. I bought some slime with my money and shared it with Hallie and Joshua and I made yellow slime.
This is my family on vacation in Colorado. I had a lot of fun with my family there.

Love this! So glad God is providing little adventures and things for the kids to be excited about. In the midst of uncertainty, He knows exactly what each one needs. This adventure is going to mold and shape their hearts in a whole new way and I can’t wait to see His plan unfold.

Ava, you have very nicely developed writing skills. Good authors paint a picture for their audience and you have done that well. You gave details, included humor and made it interesting. Great job! I hope you will continue with more posts this year.
