Our roles in Cameroon will focus primarily on linguistics, translation, and literacy. We will work hard to learn the language and understand the culture. Chris will focus on the language so that he can work alongside Baka believers to translate the Bible. Rachel will focus on increasing literacy so that the Baka are prepared to read, understand, and apply God’s word to their lives. In all of this, we will also be involved in the local church so that the Baka people are equipped to reproduce faithful, growing, and sustainable churches.
